Made in Algeria, for Algerian practices

Dorek (دورك) is a digital waiting list for walk-in medical practices in Algeria: a patient in the room scans a QR code, gets an anonymous number and follows their turn on their phone. The code changes every 2 minutes, so only patients who are there can take a number. No names, phone numbers or health data. From 4 900 DZD a month, with a 7-day free trial (14 days on a colleague’s invitation).

Why Dorek

In many practices, the waiting room still turns around a sheet of paper on the desk. Patients stand by the door so they don’t lose their place. The secretary answers the same question all morning.

Dorek replaces that sheet with a number on the patient’s phone. Nothing else in the practice changes.

“دورك” means “your turn”. That is the one thing Dorek has to say at the right moment.

Who makes Dorek

Dorek is made by a small team in Algeria. We design it, build it and answer your messages ourselves.

Where we are

Dorek is coming to practices in Algiers this winter. You can try it today, with a sample morning or in your own practice for 7 days.

What we care about

  • Nothing about the patient. A ticket, not a file.
  • The code of medical ethics. No advertising for the doctor, no list of practices, no ads on the screen. The only announcements on it are the practice’s own.
  • Clear prices, in dinars, shown on this site.
  • A reply within 24 hours, from the team that builds Dorek.
